Fiona Burn, Operations Director, Abtel Limited
When one of our Technical Support team staff left in June 2006, we took the decision not to replace the position and to outsource our computer maintenance and were fortunate to find Purity. One advantage to us was that they were happy not to tie us into a long term contract and gave us the facility to cancel at a month's notice. Having previously had a bad experience with a computer support company, I did not want to be tied into a contract again.
However, we have never seen the need to even consider cancelling our contract. Purity maintains our 4 servers and provides us with SpamCleanse mail filtering service which works very well. They have remote access to all our systems and are very pro-active. There is always someone at the end of the telephone and, without exception, the whole team in Glasgow we have found to be more than helpful. Over the last couple of years they have offered us endless advice which has proved invaluable. They recently advised us to install "bBackUp" back up software which we did and this makes us much more resilient.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Purity to any company looking for a friendly, competent company to provide computer systems support.

Donald Amour, Finance & General Manager, GO Group
GO Group have been working with Purity for over 3 years.
Day to day they provide IT support services for our group which comprises of 6 sites and includes around 75 staff. Over the years we have found them to be very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable.
They also provide ongoing strategic solutions, and have delivered 2 major projects to date, with the focus on scalability, security and standardisation. The initial project was undertaken when we initially moved to Purity and they set up a stable WAN platform for the Group to work on. On the second project, on Purity’s recommendation, we moved our 2 main servers into a data centre and along with CITRIX ‘thin client’ technology this has ensured our ongoing costs for the core network have been kept to a minimum. By using ZENs ADSL on a 30 day rolling contract we have the flexibility to move sites without the overhead of leased line costs but still achieve good network performance. The other great benefit to their recommendations is from a Business Continuity point of view, which essentially means that any outage in any office the staff can work from other sites or from home. During the projects, we have been impressed by the formal project management methodologies used, Purity ensured we met every week for 6 weeks prior to the rollout, during the rollout and 2 weeks post rollout.
